Amy Johns
Owner, Certified Trainer and Mentor for Animal Behavior College.
Amy Johns is a Certified Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer (ABCDT) and a mentor for ABC students. Amy has a bachelor of Science in Human Resources.
She enjoys spending time with her family and all animals including her adoptive and foster dogs. Amy’s passion is to continue learning canine behaviors so your dog will feel safe and happy during their stay at Dogwood Dog Lodge.
Abbi Henney
Full-Time Supervisor
You will see Abbi early in the mornings when you drop your pups off. She will be the smiling face that greets you. Abbi enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her adoptive dogs and foster dog.
Abbie is the sweetest person you will ever meet. We are so lucky to have her working here and taking care of your pups!
Emily Mitchell

Now graduated and working as a full-time nurse, Emily puts together the videos we post on Facebook for our clients to view while on vacation or running errands for the day.
Emily enjoys spending time with her family and her adopted dog, and fostering kittens from the local shelter. We are so lucky to have Emily when she is available!
Lindsay Hert
Customer Service Administrator
Lindsay is the person behind the emails, schedules, reservations, reminders, etc. She is the person who answers your emails all hours of the day and night.
Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, daughter, kitty and dog. We are so fortunate to have Lindsay.
Cheryl Hummel
PRN Supervisor
Cheryl is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is warm, bubbly, and so kind. Every dog and human that meets her just loves her. We are so lucky to have Cheryl at Dogwood.
Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and walking her pups. We are so happy that she is part of our team.
