Amy Johns

Owner, Certified Trainer and Mentor for ABC, and Kennel Supervisor

Amy Johns is a Certified Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer (ABCDT) and a mentor for ABC students. Amy has a bachelor of Science in Human Resources. She had been dreaming about the lodge for a long time, and in September 2018 it finally opened. Amy has 6 dogs and 1 cat at home. Amy enjoys helping those shelter dogs that have been overlooked by the general public because of behavior issues.

Amy McMahon

Kennel Supervisor and Trainer

Amy McMahon has worked with Canine behavior problems for years and is the lead agility trainer at DWDL. Amy’s passion is working  with dogs and it is her honor to train people to better understand how to create balance and harmony with their own dog.  Her interest in dog training started several years ago when her own Great Dane began having behavior issues.  Amy said this changed her life!

Reagan is studying surgical technology at Mount Aloysius College. Her interest in dogs is what brought her to us. She has experience pet sitting and training her family’s 4 Great Danes. Reagan loves meeting the variety of dogs that come stay with us!

Alice is studying psychology at Juniata College. She has experience pet sitting and caring for her two dogs. Her previous pet experience is what brought her to us. Alice loves all the dogs that come here, and although she tries to pick favorites, all of the dogs end up being her favorite.
